I have a website hosted on here and have bought a domain on GoDaddy.

I updated the name servers on GoDaddy's DNS Management page, and updated the DNS Management on x10hosting to include a Type A record with the new domain and the IP address of my current website.

I believe that is all I need to do, but using my new domain name does not work. Safari cannot find the server. Is there something I am missing?

Current website: www.montvilleweather.x10host.com
New domain: montville-weather.com

Have you added the domain in your account, either as a separate domain (using Add New under Account Manager->Domain Setup) or as a domain pointer (found under Account Manager->Domain Pointers)?

If you set our name servers, you only need to add it to your account, editing A records on goDaddy is not needed as their name servers would no longer be queried for information about your domain.

Adding a domain pointer works, but only for my homepage. When I switch to another page, it goes back to my x10host domain. How do I get it to apply to all of my pages?

You may need to tell the script you have installed that the .com domain should be the assigned domain. Many scripts automatically redirects traffic to the domain it has configured, wordpress for instance does this.
