Hello everyone,

I have started a sms services company, that provides SMS services to small and medium size businesses. I was wondering if you would not mind reviewing the site at http://texagram.com

Tell me what you like, what you don't, and how I can improve it.

We basically offer SMS services that allow people to subscribe to a shortcode for example and they the owner of the shortcode/number can freely send them text messages.

Thanks for the help.

The link is http://texagram.com

Thank you from John Klyne.

The site is designed very well. I would like to point out a few things however. The social network buttons at the bottom of the page link to "#," so you need to add those links. Also, for the buttons at the top of the page, "Home, Services," and so on, make sure to use css hover effects. I don't know what you are using right now, but sometimes even when I stop hovering over the button, the background stays gray for a couple of seconds. Great work so far and keep up the good work! If you have time, then please review my site, http://pearlsquirrel.com/.

Hey there! I see you are using Superfish for your mouseovers: http://users.tpg.com.au/j_birch/plugins/superfish/
If I were you, I would use a Javascript drop down menu - it doesn't use a milliseconds drop down time and stutter, like eggo suggests. http://jsworkshop.com/dhtml/list21-1.html
I would avoid use of # because it brings you to the top of a page. Doing something like:
<a href="javascript:"></a>
or, if you are using a javascript function, use onClick:
<a href="#" onClick="return false;">
is the most supported way, or do it the W3C way:
<a href="#" onClick="e.preventDefault();">
There, I just gave you three ways to give a link to nothing. As eggo suggests, the links to Youtube, Digg etc. don't work. A phone number isn't given, even though it says you can call them. And all the buttons, ring ring, locate on map etc. should stick with the theme and light up blue to look nice.

Thank you for the suggestions, definitely have to look over the mouse-over effects on the site. And I should add content to the site instead of the normal # sign. I'll try the suggested javascript edits as ellescuba27 suggested.

Thanks for help/tips, will note it and change it to make it work right.

Thank you!
Anyone else have suggestions?

Just noticed now that the bar with the items on it doesn't fit my screen. The rest of the page looks nice centered, but going so fast, you really don't notice that the items almost seem to come out of... nothing. If you don't know what I mean, you probably don't have a widescreen like I do.

Use percents to stretch the bar to the full screen.
As well, you could make it so the arrows near the items don't disappear... it's a nice effect, but sometimes I can't find the arrows!

Try:
<img src="spacer.gif" width="100%" border="0">
will create an image that fills the whole parent container. If it isn't in any divs, it will create an image to fit the whole screen. Notice the percent sign in the width attribute.

No my service is not available in Iran. Only USA...

But I have yet to create a good logo : / Would be nice if I can get it to say "Texagram" instead of Tehran.
Anyone able to help with that?
