Wow! This thread is the next longest after the banning game. What does that mean?

I am going to go eat some chocolate ice cream anyway.

I wouldn't bother asking ichwar for some strawberries to go with that icecream.

He's got a secret supply ; http://forums.x10hosting.com/forum-games/58657-new-biggest-thread-205.html#post531041 but never handed any out ; http://forums.x10hosting.com/forum-games/58657-new-biggest-thread-206.html#post534789

Then Mitch claimed to have eaten them all ; http://forums.x10hosting.com/forum-games/58657-new-biggest-thread-207.html#post534813 but I think he was bluffing.

As soon as I've finished digging my tunnel underneath the minefield & barbed wire that surrounds ichwar's strawberry patch, I'll be able to nip in & pinch some of them. I'll only go for a few of the ripest ones each time - that way hopefully ichwar won't notice. :naughty:

Look out for free strawberries being handed out in this thread in the near future - so save some icecream for them!

due to hints given by a certain x10hosting forum member, all mine fields around the strawberrys have been expanded to the depth of 50' and a width of 200'. Also, motion triggered machine guns have been mounted on various tree surrounding the area.
Officials advise that all dissinterested parties keep well clear of the area.
Thank you.

A good idea would be to use a jetpack to get over the minefield though.

Unfortunately your advice came too late.

Of all the strawberries I managed to steal, only one survived intact.

Help yourself .......first come, first served.

The rest were blown to pieces by the minefield. I had no idea that the mines were buried so deeply.

By the way, does anyone know a good limb re-attaching specialist?

My goodness, this is getting rather convoluted and bloody to boot! Nice to see that one strawberry made it out intact, but I would hope that zen-r stays out of harms way in the future.

Meanwhile I think the best approach for the future would be to spread some of those pilfered strawberry seeds around so enough start growing everywhere that extreme and deadly protective measures are never again needed.

For now I will pass on those blood-stained strawberries until more have sprouted outside any deathtraps.

My chocolate ice cream is quite good without strawberries. Still when I see some the next generation of those juicy berries start to bear fruit I'll pass the word around, and hope others will too. Strawberris and chocolate do in facct go together well!

zen-r was hospitalized after being found lying in the middle of my back yard without any arms or legs and vomiting green strawberries. MD J.W. Alex, a surgeon at Duke does not expect zen-r to live through the night. Other officials however, still maintain hope for his recovery.
Let this be a warning to all.

After an extended, cooler than usual winter, spring has definitively arrived in Seattle. No more nights below 40°F and within a mere two weeks everything has turned from gray to lush green, and though it's raining now, it remains pleasantly warm enough not to need a jacket.

Good weather for Strawberries to startsprout too!

Mmmmm......strawberries  (My arms & legs have grown back now, thanks to a regular diet of ichwars' magic strawberries)

We had our mini Spring heatwave here a month or so back. It's all gone downhill again weather-wise since then.

Good luck to those of you doing exams soon. It can be one of the most stressful times of your life. And it's not helped by the fact that for the rest of your life, whenever you apply for a job, those bloomin' exam results may need to be included in the job application (not wishing to add to the pressure or anything! ;) )

Since the use of AdBlock for Firefox was discussed some time back in this thread, I thought this latest news story may be of interest.

Evidence of a war between the authors of the AdBlock & NoScript add-ons has prompted calls for changes in the way all extensions are written, after one of them admitted he had added camouflaged code that disabled features in the other's program! Full details of their dirty tactics can be read here ;

well, assuming that's even true (never trust a news site), it makes adblockplus all the better.

It is true. The NoScript addon site confessed all, had an apology on it & promised never to do it again!

That didn't stay up very long though. I just had a look again, & it's gone now. The only sign I can find there now is the reference to the change they had to make, in the site's Changelog v1.9.2.6.

P.S.

I just noticed that I got an enforced delay here in x10 - making me wait 30 seconds before I was able to make another post. Is this a new feature? Anyone else noticed it before? Presumably an anti-spammer tactic.
