After my new hosting account at new server, i am worried that i havent even had cpanel to login. login to cpanel- in account panel gives, 'login attempt failed'-error! even my main domain, http://apostbox.pcriot.com/cpanel resolves as url cannot found. but ftp and http works fine. what happened to my cpanel. do i need re-install?

Go to https://starka.x10hosting.com:2083 and try login there. If Login is not working then reset your cPanel password.Login to http://x10hosting.com/control/login.php with forums username and password.
Go to "Hosting" on TOP navigation, ----> Then Click on "update password". There you can change your password. put forums password in "Current Password" field.
Note: After this process, password for your client account, cPanel, and forums will become same.
