With Yahoo announcing it is going to shut down all its public chat room service full story here I was wondering...

a: are we still allowed to run our own chat scripts here ?
b: how would you make money from a chat site.... ???

To run a chat room you'll need at least a VPS.

Google Adsense bans all chat website. All other people who had chat sites are now using adultsense ads on their websites. But since my culture doesn't allow me use adultsense ads, i have to run my website ads-free. Still I pay for the servers as i've got addicted to chat administration.
