I want to use a subdomain of mine with a folder here but when I try to add it, I get the error:
---
Using nameservers with the following IPs: [...] Sorry, the domain is already pointed to an IP address that does not appear to use DNS servers associated with this server. Please transfer the domain to this servers nameservers or have your administrator add one of its nameservers to /etc/ips.remotedns and make the proper A entries on that remote nameserver.
---

I don't want to transfer the nameservers over to x10. I did make a cname record for the subdomain so it should work, if x10 would allow me to configure it.

You'll have to change your nameservers to x10 so that you can add the domain, and then change them back to yours... and set an A record, not a CNAME.

Is it possible to have my domain carloscuentas.com point to carloscuentas.x10.mx by way of creatin an addon domain and changing the dns? Thus having the files hosted at x10 and clients accessing them through carloscuentas.com?
