Hi - I'm not able to access to the files of my wordpress site. I can't update it. In addition, my site is not available and I have the following message instead: "Apache is functioning normally". Last week, everything seemed to be fine. Also, I updated the IP address of the server in Cloudflare. Is it an issue related to the migration of your backend?

Really appreciate your help.

Best,

C.

Your account was more than likely deleted in March, during a pruning of inactive accounts. Your last login was in December. In January it was eligible for suspension and then by February it was eligible for deletion. It was deleted in March, then x10 started restoring users under a one-time-only policy because reminder emails were disrupted during the transition. That ended a few weeks ago. If your account is restored, please don't rely on emails as they can be sent to the spam folder or even blocked. The login requirement is once every 30 days (not once a month). Only logins to https://x10hosting.com/sso/main count. FTP and forum logins do not count.

Since your DNS was wrong, your site changes went to the old server (xo#) instead of your new server (x15). Please update your DNS to 198.91.81.15 (x15.x10hosting.com)

I'm asking an admin to see if they can restore your account even though the restore timeframe has ended.

Thank you Garrett for the detailed explanation. I have been relying on the email reminder and it was a mistake. I updated the DNS earlier today. I believe everything should be fine now. I'm hoping the admin will be able to restore my account as my last back up is quite old. :-( This experience is definitely a good reminder to pay more attention to the login reminder and to back up my site more often.

Thanks again for your response.

Your account should now be restored.

I advice you to not rely on email as your sole reminder to login, it has been known to end up in spam folders for some as well. In my opinion it is also wise to login a bit more often then once a month, as a means to keep yourself informed about upcoming changes.

Thank you Anna. Lesson learned. I can access my account now, but my site does not load. Message is still "Apache is functioning normally".

Thank You.

Try clearing cache (or force reload, often ctrl + f5), the apache page can be stubborn sometimes.
