I have signed in on the normal http://forums.x10hosting.com/free-hosting/www.x10hosting.com page and when I try and link accounts, I get the following error:

In order to use the Ad-Enhanced hosting account management panel, you must have your forum account linked to your hosting account.
Please enter your cPanel username below, you will receive an E-mail with further instructions. Be sure to have the same E-mail address registered with your cPanel account that your forum account has!
Account Username

An Error Has Occurred
The hosting username you specified does not exist.

I have logged onto both hosting and forums using the same username!

Can someone assist me? I don't seem to be able to access my subdomain either! maybe the problems are linked....

Hello, your account hasn't been created yet, you must wait until you receive an email saying your account has been created, i have manually linked your account to the name your account is going to be created with, so it should all work.

Thank you for your response.

Does this mean all the files previously uploaded will become available again as it appears the subdomain is no longer available and I get a 404 error?

Hello, unfortunately we cannot provide your account for you. This is why we ask you keep backups in case something like this happens. If you have your own backups you are more than welcome to re-create the account. First visit http://x10hosting.com/logout though.
