Unable to upgrade

Just tried twice to upgrade but it said there was an issue with my payment details.

The details were definitely correct - I've not had any issues paying anywhere else.

Are there any problems with your payment system at the moment?

Hi beagle2x,

Were you paying with a credit card, or with paypal? Also, are you sure your billing address is correct and matches what your bank/paypal has on file? We have a rigorous fraud protection system.

Hey,

I was paying by credit card. I couldn't see an option for PayPal? That would probably work if I was able to do that.

I moved house a few months ago, but I've been using the new address for plenty of other online credit card transactions and it's been fine.

Just noticed that credit cards are US only - I'm in the UK. Is there a way I can choose PayPal?

Hi Beagle, I've taken a look over our system logs and I'm seeing that the address provided during the upgrade order is failing the verification check. Our system validates all portions of an address to match that on record with card banks. If there are significant discrepancies it won't let it go through; this is in effort to protect us against the unfortunately large volume of fraud info we receive.

What you'll need to do is confirm that the address being placed into the form matches that shown on your card statement as closely as possible.

Please let us know if this trouble continues.

Sorry I missed this - Your location in the UK shouldn't be causing this. We had limited the upgrades to the United States but this isn't a restriction at this time. That message was inaccurate and has been resolved.

Thanks for your help - got it working now using my old address. Need to give my bank a call, I think! My old address has been denied recently, so I have no idea why it has reverted back...

That's banks for you - unhelpful and inconvenient!
