Hello. My website have various projects that I am testing at the moment. But aside from my testing folders, I want to now expand to host a repository (currently for a testing reason), which will catch a lot of users attractions immediately. I will be hosting packages which users will be able to access with just one click.

If I should be able to get everything going I will then consider upgrading to premium membership as the bandwidth will also be not enough. According to what I have read, the free accounts are suppose to have been in use for a couple of weeks. Although I am on an off, I use FTP Client called FileZilla all the time to edit my pages as all of my main test projects pages are hard-coded. I was also using CMS for the same project. So active wise I would say I qualify.

If someone could help me out with enabling unlimited feature, I will greatly appreciate it as I am almost out of the space provided.

Thank you for your time.

Edit: And I also do realize that this is my second time attempting to get my unlimited disk space ability enabled, and I believe I had my rejection reason straight last time and I was very dumb to even mention what I was trying to do - this has to be done and I 'need' the space.

Thank you, again.

The majority of the space seem to be taken up by a full backup of your site. I do recommend that you download that to your local computer and remove it from the server. Backups stored on site would not be very useful in the event something went wrong with your account, they would be just as lost as any other files would be in that case.

As it stands now I would say that your account does not meet the requirements, no where could I see the wmv files stored on your account being referenced on the actual site (which basically just tells me I'm in the wrong place without giving directions as to where I should be looking). Due to this the account would at its current state violate the Terms of Service, specifically the file hosting part of it.

Further more it appears as the files you have on there are copyright protected work, a tv show. Unfortunately this does not give me any choice but to suspend your account for copyright infringement.

Anna, thank you for your reply.

I submitted a ticket and I would like proof of the material being copyright "protected" because I was clearly looking for that around the web, on the official website of the show and also in your reply.

I was also not warned about the site being suspended because I have not used or released links to those videos to anyone (you can see the proof of that in the log of where the site was accessed from). As explained in the ticket, I only uploaded the videos for my own personal experimentation reasons and since I see that without warning my account was suspended I will take my business elsewhere since I do not feel like I would be warned before any action by x10hosting even if I took a step forward to buying the premium service.

I read the terms of service and I understood that you guys do not allow hosting of copyrighted material. And then again I could not find that warning on the creators website. I also took a step forward to asking the creator of the show for any information regards to hosting the show videos elsewhere or anything in regards to hosting the show elsewhere, and I got no reply leaving me no choice but to be safe to upload the videos and test my html5 code based solely on the size of those videos.

If you must know, I will now not buy the premium service as mentioned above probably and I thank you for replying. I was initially going to start a repository for a program which is very popular but I guess that would not be the case anymore.

Thank you again, and please consider reviewing my ticket. There is more details in there.

PS: This request for unlimited disk space was not intended for the use of "videos" of any kind. It was for the repository.

Closing ticket; I am reviewing your dispute now, however at first glance your reasoning provided here and in the dispute don't appear to validate the claim that the video isn't copyrighted.

Edit: Confirmed that video is copyrighted and permission was not sought nor granted for redistribution (the content is tagged "All Rights Reserved," which does include copyright.
