Unsupported Language as Unforgivable Sin

Somebody please clarify. I understand that pages must be in English, Spanish or the other languages on the whitelist. Can I post a translation of my pages in some other language, and if so, how do I protect myself from being permanently zapped? Do I have to post some kind of disclaimer on the translation? Or a link to the English-language source page?

As long as ALL content is available in one of the supported languages (at this time only English, Spanish and French) you can have as many additional languages as you want on your site.

Linking back to the English page for the content from all other languages is wise, we should not need to guess on where to find your content in English when doing a review of the site/account.
