Hi,

I received an email from RSA (http://www.rsa.com/) saying that my site was hacked and the victim had placed a phising page of a bank called CHASE (https://www.chase.com/)..i immediately went to delete those stuff but RSA wanted a copy of the phising page so i was compressing it and was trying to make a backup for RSA and then tryed delete them off the webserver but i got suspended suddenly..i was alredy aware that my site's database was hacked and i used to delete the unnecessary posts made in the forums of my website but i never knew some1 will be able to create phising page like this and this IS NOT MY FAULT and seriously you guys must have a BETTER SECURITY SYSTEM even tho i shldnt be complaining since its free hosting but i do have many popular websites running up(paid/free) but none has experianced such as this and i think the victim is using VNC/telenet hacking or something coz i've noticed serveral websites hosted in stoli having the database breached..now there might be several bank accounts which has been collected through the phising script..here's the pictures of the email which i got from RSA:

u guys better delete the whole phising content..the name of the folder is "dep" and check the pics for more info.

now lemme atleast hope some1 reads this - i was planing to buy a VPS from this company but now i have no hope.

Perhaps if you got RSA to send a copy of that letter directly to x10hosting, explaining why they feel that you were hacked.

i need some1 experienced to post srry...look i have provided every proof i cld and i alredy know that my website's database was hacked as i saw some anonymous posts in my forum which i delete usually coz its impossible for a guest to post as i only set the post permissions for members..i have no idea wats a "CHASE"..i live in India and i have no reason to hack foreign bank accounts.i need some 1 to check the logs or something - i had this free hosting for years ..why wld i want to host such scripts when i alr have a clan website running up??

Anybody higher up will request the same verification of that supposed email from RSA.

That could work, as long as the original headers are intact and are shown in the forwarded e-mail.

first did any1 delete the script?as i alredy mentioned..no1 can be trusted even the staff.

Until we have seen proof, your site will not be unsuspended.

I did check the suspension logs, and your suspension reason is "shell script", this is a huge security risk, which is why they are disallowed.
I also noticed that you seem to have an old version of e107 website, which is known to previously have had bad security and been infected with said shells script.

So I'm inclined to believe in you due to these known facts.

We did get an e-mail from RSA too, that one does not speak of possible hacking attempt though. The e-mail to use would be abuse@x10hosting.com (that way all staff members get the e-mail).

Due to the severity of the security risk, chances are it will be needed that we wipe the account clean of files before unsuspending, to make sure no infected files are left behind. I'd also recommend updating to the latest version of e107.

There's really no way around that sadly.
