I tried searching to see if this is something with the migration and can't find anything related so either I missed it or there is something amiss with the site or what I'm doing?

My site is www.lakeland-rc.com and I've uploaded new content to the /public.html/documents folder. Specifically LakelandApplication-Current.pdf file. I made the change yesterday and am still getting the old content, not sure how this is happening. If I open the browser and look at the www.lakeland-rc.com/documents, I see the old file information, which makes no sense to me.

I'm not using ftp at the moment but using the file manager directly.

Let me know if I'm missing something or ?

Thanks!

Dave

As you may know, we did some server migrations in December and January, as announced here: https://x10hosting.com/community/threads/cpanel-migration-to-directadmin.206877/

This also lead to new IP addresses for the servers, for your server that is: 198.91.81.12

For any domain, where you are not using our name servers, you would need to manually update the A record on those name servers (be it registrar, cloudflare or other service).

If you uploaded anything using ftp lately, where you suspect you may have uploaded using the old servers credentials (anything like xo#.x10hosting.com will lead to old server, as will your .com domain currently), you would need to take a backup of that and re-upload to the correct server.

Thanks, doing the updates in the domain is a bit new. I'm not a web designer and do this for our RC airplane clubs.
I've been using the CPanel for the updates and just now logged into the domain server (google) and updated the A record. I had no idea what you were talking about until I got to the settings lol.

With your comment about using ftp update, since I was NOT using the ftp update, would I need to do anything else or should the site be reflected properly once the changes at Google take effect?

Also, I have two other sites with x10, how do I find the updated IP address to use?

Much appreciated.

Thanks,

Dave

If you made the uploads using the filemanager in DirectAdmin, they would be on the correct server and no other action then updating the IP would be needed.

In the account panel, there will be a link saying "Quick FTP". It will say x#.x10hosting.com, for instance with the above site x12.x10hosting.com.

The IP would be like 198.91.81.# (so x12 has IP 198.91.81.12, x11 would have IP 198.91.81.11 etc)
