Resolved Uploading a ssl certificate

Can I download a ssl certificate to my computer and upload to my free hosted site for it to work or does a protocol need activation on the site?

Free hosting does not allow the use of SSL fully, so you can not install a certificate with free hosting.

If you need to be using SSL, you would need to upgrade to premium hosting, which to my knowledge allows you to upload a certificate, and would also include a free SSL cert with some of the payment plans.

I haven’t paid for anything other than my domain in 10 years, I’m not Going to start now. Guess I’ll have to look for another host to add a free certificate lol
