My account is also in this state. I am watching for a new post in the announcements section, but this must be the best backup there is. It is the user's responsibility to back up their own data. I lost a ton myself, I didn't follow my own advice :(

Oh heck! The actual main site config hasnt been changed for weeks, so isnt effected, but there are hundreds of forums posts since then, and I have been playing with user groups etc-all lost-hours of work =(. I hope its a temporary thing-and they fix it, after all, zodiac takes a backup every day.

I am experimenting data loss also. I host a website and forums in Lotus and lost a lot of posts and new members from this data loss that just happened. This morning everything was ok. I hope they have a good fix for this.

Zodiac is not related to MySQL unless you have a cron job dumping your database to your folder.

I too observed that, I also observed that the mysql contains the data
wheni tried to connect using phpmyadmin the articles on my site are there on the mysql but

i feel like the site configurations are connecting to the other mysql server not the one we are connecting through the phpmyadmin. So the data differences.

The staff has to check the mysql connections in cpanels.

I see what you mean. I have a feeling, its the remote MySQL playing up again if what you said is true.

Thanks for your input.

+1

Actually I loged in to cpanel to restore the data. As I have the latest data backup. But once i selected the phpmyadmin. I saw all the data as it is.

So I understood the problem and waiting for the response from the staff.

The cause was a failing link to the remote mysql server, which lead it to revert to the older database stored locally on your server.
