Check phpMyAdmin -- is the CMS database still there? Database user still there and linked to database?

Is your configuration file for your CMS there? Correct info in it?

I'm thinking I may have messed up.

The database itself is still there - however, I forgot the password to the original user ( Or, at least, it was telling me the password was wrong, even though I never actually changed it. )

I run Wordpress, btw. The wp-config file is there, and the correct info ( As far as I knew ) was there when I checked it, but somehow the password was wrong. I ended up going into MySQL and deleting the old user, and recreating it with a new password - which brought the site back after putting in the new password, but it seems none of my content is there anymore.

Not a huge deal if I can't get it back - portfolio needed some cleaning up anyway - but if I could get that stuff back, it'd be great.

EDIT: I should also add that the database reads 0.00MB in its filesize, which can't possibly be right.

Hi,

I've restored your database from a backup.. but I can't seem to see anything wrong with your site.. Are you still missing data?

Nope, not anymore. Everything seems to be back now. Thanks so much :D.

However, I do seem to be getting a 404 error on all of my pages, other than Portfolio.

Can you give me a link? :p

http://venomgraphics.x10.mx/blog/
http://venomgraphics.x10.mx/services/
http://venomgraphics.x10.mx/shop/

Were all giving a 404 last night ( And it wasn't my 404 page, but a default LiteSpeed page, it seems. ) Others as well, but I can't get to them as I'm getting a database error again.

On the main site, I get "Error establishing a database connection".

When I try to access my Wordpress Admin page, I get this:

I also had a little trouble connecting to cPanel, but that cleared up after clearing my cache in Firefox. That didn't help the site, though :( Nor did flushing my DNS. Could it have something to do with the version of PHP running ( I also can't seem to login to phpMyAdmin at the moment - just get a blank screen when I do. )?

MySQL is having a bit of trouble today (your database is affected). We do have your data--just so you know. We're working on restoring service.

Saw the Status update that the work on MySQL was done, so went to check my site - looks like it's showing the default "New Blog" content.

Anything special I need to do to get the old stuff back? Or is that something you can do on your end again?

There ya go! Sorry about the wait. :)
Yay :D Thanks for the help.

Hmm...the content came back, but for some reason, the pages seem to 404 on me ( Same as what it was doing last time ) The main page works fine - I can view the works, for example, on the main page since they load through Ajax - but if I try to, say, middle-click and view the single entry in a new window, it 404's.

Blog, About, Services, Shop - all of them 404 and I'm not sure why.

That's the 404 I see whenever I try to view anything that isn't http://venomgraphics.x10.mx

It all shows up on the Wordpress Dashboard, I can even edit and republish/update - but it doesn't fix the 404 error :/ Clearing the cache didn't work, and it happens on all of my browsers. I haven't tried flushing the DNS yet, but I'll try it and see if that helps. Flushed DNS and even cleared full history in Firefox - no change.

I'd try playing around with the permalink settings in wordpress for that. Seems to be an issue there.
