As far as im aware there is no direct system to donate etc to x10hosting. The main source of revenue is advertising and paid hosting, so simply having a hosting account with us helps fund keeping the servers going etc.
Though i doubt any of the higher ups would complain if you were to invest.

And Corey is the amazing owner and founder of x10. He had to pay for it out of his own pocket for a while because it didn't even break even, but that's all been sorted now. Long live x10!

x10 also have a couple of other companies which are FileVIP and x10Exchange. There is also x10Gaming, which is currently offline, but may be revived after the new site is launched.

You can see what x10 was like when it first started by going here: http://web.archive.org/web/*/http://x10hosting.com

There is also a chance of x10Radio being revived.

X10 provides paid hosting, VPS hosting, and TLD Registration. Those are the main features x10 has when your talking cash.
x10 also has VIP services for faster support for your account, advertising on banner/text/forum banner ads, and enhancing your adfree account by doubling bandwidth and all those good things.

Cool x10radio.. thats awesome

also i was thinking ... as are their any expansion plans ... by x10...

Also as you have moderators and regular super user ... why don't you people place a server in different continents .. which can be managed by mods and alloted users ...

Like giving right to use x10 name logo & Investing certain percent ... and generate shared revenue from these locations

Also would lead to faster loading of pages for that particular continent users ...

I feel its time you people expand globally with nearly have 75k + registered members and alexa ranking within 9000

Distributed network business have greater success in ever growing world of web

Regards

Moderators aren't allowed to manage the servers - they clean up the forums and make sure the community is a nice place to be. The server techs and above deal with server issues and such.

As for the investment, this is down to Corey; but I don't personally think it'll go that way, it'd get much harder to manage.

I agree with Luke, it would be nice if x10 expanded into other countries, but I don't think it's necessary or likely to happen.

To let you know, the servers are held in Datacenters, not Corey's home. =p

X10's history is in this exact forum. Posts dating back to the start. Try appending this query string to any of the forums or sub forums
Code:
?pp=20&sort=lastpost&order=asc&daysprune=-1
EDIT: NB: please don't go reviving any old threads :)

When you say is x10 expanding. The answer is yes, it expands daily. Corey and the team are always coming up with new ideas and services to offer. There is a yearly upgrade on the presentation of the service's and systems.
If you are interested in investing in x10 I recommend you post a thread that asks for Corey's attention. This way he will answer it personally.
x10 is global. From what I see daily we get members from every country in the world. If you are thinking it is limited to the country's stated at sign up, that is only for laws pertaining to internet usage and rights and as DeadBattery said we use a datacenter.
From a tracerout I also pick up something from Colorado

I dunno, theres a great (paid) UK hosting company in the UK who have over 6 million members/users and they just have one datacenter (£15m worth). I'd say thats pretty good going.

Well as of now i am not sure ... with going ahead to invest ... Unless i graduate for which i have 8 months left ... My team hear is actually looking to start a free & paid hosting service in
India as their is no free hosting service ...

The reason i was thinking was for the some

so if x10 ventures in a partnership deal with me

But I can't commit on anything until I graduate ...
