Wat is cause of banning

I have stared a new forum .... So i want to know what causes account suspension... As i dont want to create a account again and lose my members... And everyone here is depressed due to account suspension , which is making me more afraid of suspension .... Yuk.... so wats the reasn behind suspenson??

Basically, don't use nulled software, proxies, shell scripts, torrent trackers, or create a file hosting site. Nothing involving illegal activity/material and nothing that will drain system resources.

Also, make sure your site is in English, Spanish, or French (or with a translation).

A regular forum shouldn't cause any problems except some mods might cause a high resource suspension (but this is not permanent so don't worry).

are two of the favorite reasons for suspension and deletion of accounts. Just uploading proxy or shell scripts will get you suspended. Same with nulled scripts.

Any discussion or links to "how to crack ABC software" will get you suspended.

Phishing sites, illegal downloads of music or videos (or links to sites that do that).

I also want to point out we get over 1,000 users per day... so what seems like 'a lot' is very little compared to the amount of users we have.

In tos it is writen site with chatbox and shoutbox will be suspended but smf provides shoutbox if i use then will get suspended...


And one thing if any tutorial is provide eg- how hackers hack hosting site... Will the site get suspended?


another thing if a site contains lots of members and a member knowningly posts illigal stuff then why the admin have to pay for it?? And how much time is taken to delete a account after any thing against tos is found??? I think atleast you should send a mail to the admin the contents against the tos are found in your forum please take quick action to avoid suspension or something like that!!!

As admin you are responsible for the content of your forums, you will then naturally have to remove such posts. If we see one or two, fairly recent, posts with illegal content we'd not suspend, but if we see several, or old posts, with illegal content we might suspend your account.

In the end it all boils down to you needing to monitor and moderate your forum in timely manner to avoid getting suspended for something someone else posts in your forum.

If you activate and use a chat function in your forum it will eventually get suspended, if for nothing else so for high resource usage.

how hackers do it tutorials with the intent to tech others how to protect them selves is allowed, but if they can be used to perform hacking as well, they are at best in a gray area. Such tutorials can not contain information that would help someone hack a site.

Lol!! very high and strict rules..... What are the other things that include high resource usage other than chatbox and shoutbox?

There's a lot things that can cause that, badly written scripts for instance.

A common culprit is cache functions which tend to use a bit resources during the process of adding the content to the cache.

With a free hosting account you share the server with a fairly high number of other users, we have to set a strict limit so one person doesn't cause trouble for the other users.

Premium accounts allow for a far higher resource usage then a free hosting accounts do.
