Hello,
I've noticed this problem recently.
I have a moodle website with a preset standard theme which has a grey background. It stopped showing about a week ago. When a page is loading, I see grey "waves/stripes" and then the background turns to white. I've checked and rechecked the theme, but I can't spot the problem.
If anyone looks into it or hints what I might have done wrong, I'd be eternally grateful.

Hi,

That's odd; your Moodle background does show a grey background here. Could you open your browser console (hit F12 on Chrome) and check if there are any errors there?

Thank you Dead-i,
I don't know how exactly, but I managed to fix it :) You were right: when I pressed F12, everything with the word 'background' was crossed off. I purged the cache - it was no good. Then I tried turning off different apps in the browser settings and, voila, I saw the background. I'm still not sure which of the apps did it (I'm seriously suspicious about Grammarly, though).
However, without your wise advice I'd never have been able to look in that direction.
Thank you once again!
