Website Not Showing

I have attempted to publish my website about 2 dozen times using the site builder, however it will not show up when I go the address.

I have been reading about many other server related issues that seem to all group to a problem with x10 servers or hosting?

Is there knowledge of this issue or even an ETA on it's repair.

Hi,

This is a known issue on our free hosting servers, and higher staff are currently investigating. In the meantime, you can temporarily solve the problem by opening your .htaccess file in your cPanel File Manager, and adding "RewriteBase /".

Still hit or miss, mostly miss with this work around.

Not happy. This has apparently been an ongoing issue for a while now. If it cannot be fixed, then staff with experience and knowledge need to be hired to deal with this.

I cannot host my website like this. I will be attempting to try one other method, if no luck, I will be terminating my usage of x10 which includes several services, some paid.

What kind of work around is this. Overtime I publish a new version of my page it overwrites the .htaccess file removing the edit. The website is till not showing, and now putting the edit into .htaccess after uploading is not correcting the problem.

This is extremely frustrating and I am not happy. I am requesting that my account be moved to another server that is not experiencing this site builder issue.

At the moment, I have assisted to create 3 free sites, and 2 paid sites. I will move them all to another service if this is not resolved. None of the other free sites are having this issue at all so this is nonsense.

If you read my reply more closely, I stated I have assisted in the creation of other sites. These were for friends and family.

As for nonsense, it is in reference to what should be a simple to have working issue that a lot of customers would find themselves using and useful in itself. Justification of the term nonsense towards other accounts not needed, thanks.

I don't care if you offer free, or charge out your behind, if you advertise something, make sure it works, or don't list it. Site Builder is listed as a tool to use, however it is useless, and judging by the comments throughout the forum, I am not the only one upset about what should be simple fixes.

I am not new to web design, hosting and web building. This is, in my opinion, nonsense. If this simple tool cannot be used properly then take it down.
