Off to a good start but you will have to move fast to keep up, otherwise a nice clean site and very functional.
Free .co.uk domain names have been available for over a year and
did find a reference to a similiar scheme was running in Australia. see GBBO.co.uk
Google also provides two forms of free webhosting via Google Sites and the App Engine.
Google Sites is unfortunately very basic and the App Engine versatile but complex & complete pig to work with.
Lovelogic.net has it's own free radio/tv station (still a work in progress but it's up and running)
I know, it's a shameless plug lol!
Selected portions of UK TV can also be found online with each channel having its own site, radio is also well represented both national and regional. The BBC iPlayer is also terrific place to bookmark but those outside the UK need a proxy service to use it.
