What does unmetered transfer mean?

Hi, I am new here. I am wondering what does unmetered transfer means? Does it mean unlimited bandwidth? But according to High Resource Usage topics in Useful Information category, it seems that transfer is limited, is it not? I am confused...some clarification please?

Actually the CPU and Resource Usage is limited, not the amount of data transferred.
Unmetered means that we do not place limits - but you should read our Terms of Service on how it can be used.
