What happened - Account Suspended?

Hey I have the hosting account marsh.x10hosting.com and for some reason my account has been suspended.

I am simply using this site to host files for a SCHOOL PROJECT and because of this unsolicited suspension, I am now staring a 'F' in the face.

I am a straight-A student and this is unacceptable, I only require the hosting account for a few days more and then I intend to leave this service and go to a friend's host.

I was hoping that I could leave here telling people good things about X10 Hosting, but obviously this is incorrect and the service is undoubtably poor - even though this is a free host.

If you NEED to make space on your servers - DONT SUSPEND INNOCENT PEOPLE PLEASE.

I expect a reply soon, or I will make sure that the forum that I help run with over 2,000 members discovers that X10 Hosting is in the same boat as 000hosting.com.

It's listed as "Spamming do not unsuspend from corey." which means you've actually caught the attention of the admin, so I'm inclined to agree with him at the moment.

If you want, we can escalate this to the staff section to try and resolve it, but given that it's Corey who marked it "do not unsuspend," there may not be a way to fix it, as he's the admin - what he says goes.

As this is only a small website and I don't see how I could have got suspended for 'Spamming' - I only have one site on there with tinymce [that is the only thing that could remotely cause problems... and I doubt that it would] ...

I dont really want to take this to a higher level because its a site for school. I'd be happier if I could just get my files + database avaliable for download and take the site somewhere else - is this possible?

Sorry about the outburst earlier, but sitting for an hour getting stick from the rest of my group [and the 180 other students in my year who got the email with a link to the site] for 'the website not working' would make anyone slightly annoyed.

When a site has been suspended in this manner, usually no files or data will be accessible to you again. Your situation is unusual because it's not a cookie-cutter suspension like we see all day long. I would suggest that you ask this to be escalated so that you may speak with Corey directly, as he does not respond to unsolicited PM's.

You said that 180 students got mail with site link. Did you sent those from the script hosted on site. Then it will come into spamming. Because of sending so many mails at a time.

The 'Project' that I am/was working on involved 5 people in a team all given different mangement roles [Buisness Studies].

I was Head of Online Marketing [rotfl], and Harvey (communications) sent out the emails via a group email system that our school has in place I did not send the emails using this hosting account.

After thinking I believe that my brother [who is -like me- quite techie savvy] could have somehow got hold of the details for this account and uploaded a script or something? I remember that the only things I had in my account were:

index.php
results.php
questionnaire.php
post.php

If there are any other files in there then I did not put them there - if there is a way to check this I'd like to know.

But I think if it involves an Admin to check this suspension out I don't particularly want to get him in on this but if it means I can get my files back that'd be cool.
