What happened to IRC support?

What happened to x10Hosting's IRC support channel? It seems that it was quietly shut off a while back, and nobody has posted about it.

The IRC server went offline a few months ago. I'm not sure of the exact reasoning behind it, but the IRC server wasn't really used anymore, and it was much more inactive than it was years ago. Since we can't be on IRC all the time, a lot of questions also went unanswered, which I really didn't like seeing. It might be best to stick to stick to the support forums now, but that's just my opinion.
