I had purchased a new domain (chatindia.co.in). There was a hosting package included with that domain. Within a minute I had created a x10hosting free account and changed name servers from domain control panel. I got a message after a minute that

"Your web hosting account for chatindia.co.in has been successfully setup. Your website can now be accessed at http://www.chatindia.co.in/

Your cPanel can be accessed at http://chatindia.co.in:2082 Or http://cpanel.chatindia.co.in/ with login information below:-"

now, as I changed my nameservers, what is going to happen with my hosting account. will it be lost?

Your hosting account will remain intact, although your previous address will be removed. DNS propagation of the new domain can take up to 48 hours and may prevent you from accessing your site for that duration.

no, I can access my cPanel, but its the x10hosting cPanel. It amazes me how fast now things are going. Within half an hour I had registered a new domain, created hosting account with x10hosting, changed nameservers and now everything started working.

now its an old day story when such propagation needs 48 hours. now it just need 15 minutes, as it seems.

suppose you don't know your domain, then there is a name like chopin.x10hosting.com, starka.x10hosting.com. how can I find such name on other hosting.

no, I didn't mean that. I mean how can I know the name (as names are here in x10hosting, some name must be there in the hosting service provided by my domain registrar.) of the server of my domain registrar. Since my domain is linked to x10hosting server so I can access control panel. but no domain is for the hosting account (which was free with domain registration) so I want a way to access cPanel of that hosting account. I suck when it comes to language.

I don't understand what you said above, If you know hindi, you can send me a private message in hindi and I can translate this for you.

I am guessing that you mean that you purchased this domain in exchange of credits from forum and you want to access/know domain registrar's site in which you can login and change domain settings if you want to in future.Am I correct?

ohhhhhhhhhh no, you all are thinking that I had purchased domain from x10hosting but it isn't true. I had purchased it from some other registrar and their I got web hosting plan (10 MB plan) free. Don't relate this problem with x10hosting. I had used "x10hosting" just to set an example.

@Bhupendra, even if I write in Hindi, I can't explain you cause it's sort of technical and I don't know a way to explain it.

Translation: nahin, mera matlab woh nahin tha. Mera matlab, main kaise oos server ka naam jaanu (jaisa ki x10hosting me naam hain, waisa hi hosting service jo ki mujh mere domain registrar se mila hai me hona chahiye.). kyonki mera domain x10hosting ke server se link hai is liye main control panel access kar paa raha hoon par mere hosting account (jo ki mere domain registration ke saath free tha) ke liye koi domain nahin hai. so mujhe us hosting account ke cPanel ko access karne ka tarika chahiye. Main. Main language ke saath bahut boora hoon.

You'd have to ask the place where you registered the domain about optional ways to reach their hosting control panel.

You might be able to find that information from some sort of account panel you can login to from their main page, but only them can give you a correct answer for how to access their hosting.

Thanks Anna, you are the first to understand what I'm trying to write.

---------- Post added at 12:20 AM ---------- Previous post was at 12:18 AM ----------

and when I login there I get cPanel url as "chatindia.co.in:2082" and when I click on the link it points me to starka control panel.

---------- Post added at 12:25 AM ---------- Previous post was at 12:20 AM ----------

besides, every control panel have some sort of url. either primary domain or a sub domain.so probably it is lost. If anybody have domain and want to use that hosting, please contact me. I'd paid additional money for that service (everywhere it is 150 and there it was 200 INR). I will give you that hosting for free. It is useless for me cause they don't have mysql database.

Thanks bhupendra for reminding me of .co.cc. And you were saying that from nowhere I can get free hosting with domain, then I should tell yu that there is one site (If I'll write the name then x10hosting may get angry).

I'm stuck with one step, help me!

Step 1: Register co.cc domain (I'll do)
Step 2: Change the nameservers (I can do)

Now here in the third step, I've to connect that domain with my hosting space. How people do it. Do you any idea. (please don't tell me about x10hosting, tell me in general)

Just login to the control panel of your hosting space, as told by the hosting site and you know better what is the URL of that.
In control panel just add this domain as a parked domain (if you want to make it primary domain) or addon domain(if it is a add---on domain) in a appropriate section.

@bhupendra, you are not understanding what my problem is.

Here's the email I got from

"Hello,

Your web hosting account for chatindia.co.in has been successfully setup. Your website can now be accessed at http://www.chatindia.co.in/

Your cPanel can be accessed at http://chatindia.co.in:2082 Or http://cpanel.chatindia.co.in/ with login information below:-

cPanel Username: ***
cPanel Password: ***

Important: If the username and password above do not work, please type it manually instead of copying it from email.

You can use cPanel to Create Email accounts, Upload Files through File Manager, Manage MySQL databses (if included in the hosting package), Manage DNS Zones through Simple DNS Zone Editor, View Website Statistics and a Lot More.

You can also upload files to your website using any FTP software like FileZilla, CoreFTP, CuteFTP etc with the information provided below:-

FTP Host: chatindia.co.in
FTP Port: 21 (default)
FTP Username: ***
FTP Password: ***

Most Important: Please upload your index (homepage) and other files inside the public_html directory, public_html directory is the base directory of your web hosting package. Please delete the default index.php file inside the public_html directory before uploading your own files.

If you face any problem or have any questions relating to your web hosting account, please feel free to contact us by sending email to us at the email address given below. We will be glad to help you.

Sincerely,
*** Team,
Email: support@***"

as you can read, cPanel url was related to domain. When I pointed my domain to x10hosting, the url of my cPanel automatically got changed. And to park, add on or any other thing I need access to my cPanel which I don't have at the moment.

I also can't ask from them cause they will not help me regarding domain registered at other (co.cc) registrar. And hosting is free so no there's support regarding it.

Just ask following to the support of that company

"Please tell me the IP address of cPanel."

So when they tell you the IP address just login to that by opening url like this.

i.p.add.rss:2082

If you are shy to tell the host name here you can pm me and if it is a free hosting service then it is very easy to find its ip address.
