Where has the " I.P deny manager" gone in Cpanel

Just having a look through my control panel this panel this morning and noticed that the ip deny manager had dissapeared ?

when did this happen ?

and if i need to ban an ip will the only way to do it be via the .htaccess?

It's been removed since it was broken due to our load balancing setup, cPanel would always see the requests as coming from the webserver(s), not from the actual user viewing the page.

Yes, you'd need to sort it with .htaccess.
