Where to upload the files?

I see too many folders like .cpanel, public_ftp, public_html, tmp, www etc. But I am not sure where to upload my files. I want to install a smf forum. Please let me know where to install the files.

Yes, leave those other folders there though.

http://xxxxx.x10hosting.com/forum --> if you want a forum folder then create a folder and upload there.
