Which is the best free DNS ???

What u think?? which is the best free DNS service......
I know only uni.cc which is pretty good. If u ppls know a better one please let me know !!

I think there are a number of similar services out there. The one that I use is DynDNS (http://www.dyndns.com/). Although I primarily using for host name to IP address resolution, they do have a service (I'm pretty sure it's free) called webhop, which looks to be exactly like what uni.cc offers.

I'm a fan of DynDNS because the offer a number of different domain names so you end up having a fair amount of choice for your name. Plus I've never had any problems with their system at all. I'm Curious to see what other ones are out there though.

If you are getting a domain name ... just point it to x10 nameservers or find a free host to point it to ... or let it just sit pointed at the parked page they probably give you.

I use .co.cc for both of my websites, and so far I've not had any problems, they were easy and quick to setup, and the management panel looks well laid out. The only problem with their service is that not every name is free.

In my opinion .co.cc and .uni.cc are best in the ".cc" category, their simple, easy to remember and pretty good customer support. If you don't like those you could always use dynDNS but sometimes they don't have a lot of good domains to choose from.

yup. its true but theres a lot of dns server out there to choose from if you like to have a thousand of name to choose from.go for afraid dns. and if your just planning to get the cc branch go try the servises of uni.cc fast and reliable. i use afraid coz i like my domain name lol clik my siggy... hehehe

and theres so webforwarders now. maybe can stick with their domain name they offer some great services . try .co.nr or .tk.. some ads though lol hehe

Some intelligensia user can create a domain LIKE something.COM. Why do we - the normal users - cannot create a private domain by our materials - everyone have a private computer ( CAN be online 24/7 ) ?
It is just a beginning idea of mine - Because i don't know anything about network.
