A friend of mine watched the press conference about the new release of the iOS 5 and the new Lion OS. Anyone have any opinions on them at all? I also heard that with the new mobile devices and with the new iOS 5 that they are making it so you don't need a computer at all. That everything is going to be moved to the iCloud.

Any thoughts?

My thoughts about the iCloud and all the companies moving toward "cloud storage" is that there just isn't enough security right now. It's a nice feature and can really come in handy, seeing as I use the server here and I use Dropbox. But, to rely on something like this now? With the hacking of Sony and with the hacking of the FBI affiliate and with some other things going on in that realm, I just think it's too premature to be relying on "cloud storage" as of yet. Maybe in the future it will be more secure and what we move to, but right now? Just a little too unsecure for me.

What do ya'll think?
