only thing is i've got xp and i don't want to use win 7's boot loader, but they say xp's is garbage (or i can use grub and install linux).

I've got it on a laptop (1.6 Ghz, 512 MB ram) and Windows 7 doesn't have any drivers for the internet card so I can't use the internet (Also no sound drivers). :(

I got my copy of the beta a week ago or so. I haven't installed it yet, since I've been busy.
I'm hearing its going to be much better than Vista ever could be.

I like it!

it loads FASTER than XP and uses less system resources.

Everything works well for me, +1 to Microsoft

I absolutely love Windows 7 over Windows Vista. Less lag, easier to navigate...the only thing that ticks me off about 7 is that one of my games that I play, doesn't work so I have to reboot back into Vista in order to play.

You can browse .zip files without extracting, and use the items in them.

I'm using W7 X86 on my Macbook Pro (stats in my sig) and have had no problems whatsoever. Everything went smoothly. In fact, I quite like it - everything Vista was supposed to be.
