So, whilst cleaning out my server, I deleted my special FTP account (that I didn't particularly care about anyways, I use the cpanel file manager for literally everything).
However, the cpanel still reads that I have an account in existence, when I really don't. Two possible approaches to choose from:

1) How do I remove the Special-FTP entry so that I can slim down my server even further, and have accurate readings?
2) How would I restore the Special-FTP account?

If my account's server needs to be re-initialized, that'll work all the same (I might've deleted a few "necessary" files, and I no longer have anything important on there).

Do you have any issues with the FTP file manager since then?

Hi Omio,

I can't seem to find a hosting account linked to your forum account. Please could you link your accounts by going to "Support" in the top right of cPanel, or provide me with your cPanel username? :)

Thank you,

You need to link accounts so that it's known if you really have ownership of that account.

Hi Omio,

There was an issue with cPanel's FTP cache on your account, which was causing your FTP accounts not to display properly. Your special FTP account was not deleted, but cPanel just wasn't listing it. This should now be resolved. :)

Thank you,

Nono, thank you, I was wondering what was up with that. I suspected a caching issue, but since I don't know how to update cPanel's cache manually, I didn't have any more deterministic things to really say aside from the original post.
