If you want it to point to your forums directly, you should set it as an addon domain, remember to make sure that the folder it points to is your forum folder (by default cPanel will create a folder by the same name as the domain)

Do NOT add any redirects in cPanel.

It is possible you will also need to update the settings in your forum to reflect the new domain it is to be accessed by, some scripts will rewrite (redirect) to the domain they are configured to use, no matter what domain address you arrived on.

You make it too complicated. Everyone else makes it simple. Hell, even ZetaBoards, InvisionFree, iPBFree, and other free forum hosts make it a piece of cake. You make some gay ass "insert C++ or some ****" thing instead.

Considering the fact that some members have real problems, I feel your attitude is way out of line.

Try spending 5 minutes and figure out basic instructions. Life will not hand you turnkey solutions to everything you want.

You do realize for ZetaBoards and InvisionFree, you have to pay to use your domains.. Also, you can't insert C++ it has to be compiled. If you READ the actual post, it doesn't even seem hard, the process only takes 5 minutes..

Would you prefer an overly simplified and incomplete answer to your question? Also, as Derek pointed out, the answer Anna gave you was not complicated if you just take a little time to read it over.
