Why isn't there a premium hosting support forum?

Paid hosting users are given access to a special support system.

Why? Paid hosting users have their own support ticket system as opposed to the community support system used for free hosting. And anybody is welcome to post in the forums. Paid hosting users do not post questions about their accounts in the forums because there is no need to.

There's a free support ticket system as well as these community forums though too? So we get an equal amount of support, if not more (with both the forums and the support tickets) than the paid people?

Yeah but there are a lot more accounts and people to deal with.

I don't think you fully understand how it works. The free hosting support forum IS the "support ticket system" for free hosting users. Community leaders can escalate something if we absolutely can not find an answer, but that rarely happens. Premium hosting users have a traditional support ticket system that is handled directly by staff.

It is not possible, untill each of us are helping each other for free.It is fun and more open, then paid ones.Although this kind of support doesn't come with warranty. But its not like support of my telecom provider whose call center employees don't know anything about GPRS. :)
Old posts helps everyone, even they are member or not. Therefore current system is best. But if somebody wants to get support privately then there should be mechanism for that. But I don't think any free hosting user will love paid support.

The "mechanism" for that would be to upgrade to premium hosting services. Premium / private support using a traditional support ticket system needs time and resources directly from staff and that costs money. Free hosting users get support primarily from volunteer community helpers. This is part of what makes free hosting services possible at x10Hosting.

As far as I am aware there's nothing stopping pAying users from using the free hosting help areas.

There isn't, although anything they -would- need help with would likely need to have a ticket filed or not be posted in Free Hosting because it doesn't relate to the servers (such as installing a CMS and having problems - that's Scripts & 3rd party apps)

It's simple, relay. Payed users can use this forum like everybody else, for support on topics that are not account related. They can get help in setting up their site, they can get reviews, logos or whatever, but when they need support on hosting related issues they use the ticket system. Although free users have the same opportunity (when problems are escalated by community helpers) paid users have priority. When free user posts a support thread, community of volunteers try to help as much as they can. In most cases that's enough to solve a problem. If not, thread is escalated to a ticket for stuff to handle, but if there are a lot of unmanaged tickets form paid users free user would have to wait until paid users tickets are resolved. That's the main thing that separates paid form free support.
