Why every one wants .com domain while .tk and .co.cc, .co.nr are available for free.

ok its easy to remember but above are also not too long then why to waste 4-8$ per year,on domain name.

what u think , we utilise that money to enhance our hosting plans and website. this is the case of personal wwebpages not organisational what u think.

.co.cc and .co.nr are subdomains and if someone knows about the company, they are sure that the site is unprofessional. Yes, it might be free but you can't go as far as you could with a .com domain. Plus it is very hard to set up .co.cc email addresses where it is so simple with a .com domain.

.com is a full level domain (FLD)but co.cc and co.nr are just sub domains only.
.com domains are legally registered in name of us or our company. No legal registration for co.cc and co.nr.

.com usually is more in a professional level than a .co.cc or a .co.nr, doing many things such as MX, DNAME, DNS and many many other things are easier with a .com domain while a .co.nr or .co.cc domain it's harder.

And .co.nr or .co.cc can terminate your domain at any time that they want (it's technically THEIR subdomain) while you can not terminate a .com domain until it's registration time runs out.

Sub domain names <like we.bs; .ws; .co> are not top level domain names or TLD's. I've tried them and they worked all right. The only drawback that I experienced is that search engines can't find your website and contents thereof. If you intend to use sub domain names then you'll have to do some really extra efforts to get into the search lists of engines like Google or Yahoo.

Right now I'm still figuring how. Seems like search engine robots don't go down the level of those sub domain names yet.

.com domains are the best domain names to have, the free ones are good because they are free, but they can't be remembered easily by people, whereas .com is easy to remember, meaning that you should get more visiters.

However any of these domains are easier to remember than the .x10hosting subdomain, so if you can't afford a .com domain then just go for a free one.
