I'm getting the common Warning: getmypid() has been disabled for security reasons in /home/thebr3tt/public_html/11-pl.us/blog/wp-includes/class-phpass.php on line 52 error. I applied, was accepted for and was upgraded to intermediate PHP, but still get the error. Doesn't intermediate PHP allow for the getmypid function? Is there something else I'm missing?

Hello, i am pointing an admin towards your thread as that is meant to be enabled in v2 php.

It seems a few users are still having issues even after being upgraded.

getmypid() is enabled on PHPv2 (Intermediate).
After your PHP version is accepted it may take a few hours until the PHP version is upgraded for your account. When you login to your AMP you should see if your upgrade is pending or is active.

More than 6hs have passed since you last posted, so it should be active for you now.

I still get that error. My AMP shows that I have PHPv2, (Intermediate PHP Configuration - You currently have this version) and has for some time now. I'm trying to use wordpress on another domain name (11-pl.us), so would that cause any problems?

Edit: I just created a test wordpress on my default domain (11plus.x10hosting.com) and I get the same getmypid error.

I have alerted fed that you are still having troubles, you could try downgrading to basic php configuration and then upgrading again and see if that works.

Or you can wait for Fed and he can see if he has any other ideas.

If you add an additional domain or subdomain to your account that virtualhost also has to be updated with the correct PHP version, this can take 24 hours.

I created a blog on the x10hosting domain, and it still got the error. However, I also tried a b2evolution blog and it worked fine.

As recommended by hellsheep, I downgraded to v1 and am reupgrading to v2.
