wordpress hosting not showing as a live URL

Hey,

I have just installed wordpress via the softulous (of what ever its called package) and everything has installed correctly etc however the site isn't live.

When I click on either the site URL or address for the wp-admin part, I am greeted with the X10 holding page saying that the domain doesn't exist.

What am I doing wrong or is there something that I am missing?

Does the URL (the [sub-]domain part) you had attempted to visit match the one that is on cPanel?

yes it exactly the same, I have even tried clicking on the URL that came with the confirmation mail after the site was installed.

Would this be the sub-domain you got from X10 via registration by any chance?


Unrelated but: if you try posting but it hangs then get off the page for a minute or two (or just refresh after that time passes).
It has posted but it looks like server-side caching is being a pain at the moment so it can take a little bit to actually see the post on the thread. This would apply to edits and thread creations also.
Not telling off or anything. It's just something I figured that could save us all from the double and triple posting that we all despise.
