Resolved Wordpress Question

Anyone out there having problems updating to verion 5.4.2 of word press everytime i've to it in testing on aback up service i use you get the white screen of death. comments please

is it possible that the backup service you mention might be the problem?
it might help if you can explain exactly, the steps you use.
so people might understand what your asking.

you might also get answers faster if you post to a wordpress support forum.
as your answers here would depend on the individuals who use wordpress.
assuming there are users of wordpress that had that issue.

The is just a note that if you install wordpress verison 5.4.2 themes and plugin's will not update or install you get a fail to update / install message. I have notdone a test site to see if the same thing happen here yet.

Finally a non-migration issue

I was able to upgrade my WordPress to 5.4.2 on x11 with PHP 7.3. No white screen. This was done previously.

@hamradi2 We can not provide support for wordpress, let alone for an installation not present on our servers. You would need to seek support with your current host or at wordpress themself.

I was just seeing if using on here have had the same Problem.
