The past few days my website stopt working, without me making any changes to it. I open a ticket and they notify me its working and to my surprise it is, the only difference is that now I can't get to my website with the regular www subdomain. instead of (for example) http://www.domainname.com is now http://domainname.com has anyone have this change and know how can be changed back?

thanks, tho still nothing I get a 404 error. The weirdest thing is that I had working applications that communicated with phps in it and it was working now they can't find the scripts unless I change them to look withouth the www. Anyway I found that the www folder was empty so I added my files and well still nothing. tho I can access with something like mydomain.com/www o_O

Thanks, but still no hope, when I use the htaccess command you suggested when I try to enter to mydomain.com in turns it into www.mydomain.com wish throws a 404 error, looking at the website I found the other way around, from www.mydomain.com to mydomain.com but it dosen't seem to react like the htaccess doesn't have power over the www.mydomain.com

try this, write whatever you want on .htaccess and save and then enter to your page again, if you get "Internal Server Error" mean the .htaccess file its work... what is your web???

try this in .htaccess file:

Options +FollowSymLinks
RewriteEngine on
RewriteCond %{HTTP_HOST} ^pamagester.com [NC]
RewriteRule ^(.*)$ http://www.pamagester.com/$1 [R=301,L]
Edit:
I see the .htaccess file works, do you have index.php, index.php page??

yes I have an index if I delete the code from the htaccess http://pamagester.com will work as the one with the www used to work. the weird thing here is, where is the www one looking into that doesn't find anything

no the domain is from godaddy.com I gave them the two urls for the nameservers and used as my main domain here, ever since I been able to go in as www.pamagester.com until recently that suddenly people started saying to me their applications weren't working and I found this 404 error.
