Hey everyone.
I would just like to share my newly developed site for some feedback.

This is my first real site after only ever coding in html on myspace.
I havne't used a web page creater program simply because I dont know how.
So everything is written in NotePad.

If you have not already noticed, my site is and electronics site and is still under consruction.

Any feedback is appreciated.

It pretty good, but your text is too dark and doesn’t stand out from the background. This make your text hard to read.

The header is as big as the rest of the page and your font is barely visible (being dark and small). If your design idea is to be big just stick to it. You can't have big header and graphics and tiny font size at the same time.

I like the big header. It jumps out at you. The font is mostly fine with me too, and I really like how you have your eBay, MySpace and YouTube links at the bottom of the page and blending in. They're unobtrusive but still easy to see and click if you'd like to.

What I don't really like is the way you do your news. The thing that says "The Latest" just lacks flair and style. I'm not sure if you're into automated news stuff, but CuteNews is a good way to go if you're okay with that.

I haven't looked at the source code, but are you doing the entire layout of the site on each page or using something like SHTML or PHP to integrate them? All of the extensions are .html that I can see. If you're only doing HTML without any includes it could be a huge pain to update the site's layout since you have to go page by page instead of doing it just once.

Thanks epyon346

I see what you mean with The news section on the home page. ("The Latest")
I want to add a lot more to the homepage and take "The Latest" away.
I will add pictures and links to anything "new" straight from the homepage.
But as there is not much content I haven't been able to do that.
"The Latest" was just to fill the gap.

RE: your 3rd paragraph......
simply put; Yes, I am doing the entire layout of the site on each page.
I wondered how it could be made easier but never looked into it.
I better do some reading on 'Includes'....

I like it, very original.

Only thing that kinda throws it off is that little bar at the bottom.

Thanks memoryz.
The bar at the bottom though... It is used as a sort of constant but hidden links bar.
I saw it on someone else's page and liked it so I copied the idea of it.
Edit:
Thanks saif7463 for the comments.

I just noticed the home link bar... I will fix that.

And tables v's Divs....
I am completely new to web design and i guess tables was the first thing i understood. If i was to start fresh I would probably now use divs, but i cant be bothered changing everything, so Ill just leave it.

Thanks mwsclan
The tiny little JE icon in the URL bar i have is called a 'favicon'. Short for Favourites Icon I'm guessing.
Go to one of my pages and view the source. Near the top, look for <!-- Favourites Icon -->, Under that will be the code you need.
And research favicon in google or something. Simply make your own icon file, then put the link in that code....
(you might need a program to make a icon file, I think i used IcoFX 1.6)

and the font for my link buttons was downloaded from some font site.
It is named "BADABOOM BB"...
Try this link
http://www.1001fonts.com/font_details.html?font_id=2379

And thanks djalam
I've thought about a smaller header, and on a small computer monitor it probably takes up most of the screen.
But yeah.... Might change it soon.
