www prefix: Different pages come up with and without www

Hi everyone. I'm brand new to x10Hosting and haven't seen a previous post that addresses this.

I have renamed the index.html file in the www/ folder to default.html and removed almost all of the HTML code, replacing it with some basic HTML and text. I can see the page I created when I go to

www.thefoxylady.pcriot.com

however, when I remove the www prefix and point to thefoxylady.pcriot.com, the 'Welcome to your x10Hosting account!" page appears.

Is this something that should be expected, or should www.mysite.com=mysite.com with x10Hosting? If this is unexpected, how do I resolve it? I noticed there is a re-direction tool in cPanel; would this be an acceptable solution, to point mysite.com to www.mysite.com?

Try clearing you browser cache
