Almost all of my past hosts had a blog that was run by the host owners/managers. I figured it would be nice for x10 to have one.... I'd find it interesting.

Yes, Tumblr is basically a blog.

Yes, Tumblr is basically a blog.

I found http://blog.x10hosting.com/ though it doesn't look like they update/maintain it anymore.

The blog was never officially used, it was a test of ways to provide information. Tumblr is what the decision landed on, one of the reasons being it is not dependent of our systems, so if something does fail we can still inform the users.
