Xbox or Playstation 3?

I plan to buy a new gaming system soon. Which do you suggest and why?

Right now at the moment, I'd have to say Xbox 360. It may be the oldest console out there but it has the most online features (despite you having to pay for them) and has the most exclusives to it. The PS3 I'd go for if you're looking for free online play, Folding@Home on the console, Blu-Ray, and of course some o the Sony Exclusives games out there such as Playstation Home (looks very cool). I don't know too much about the consoles since I'm a PC gamer and only own a PS2, PSP, and some old 8-16bit consoles, so yeah.

The 360 is the best choice. I own both systems and my 360 gets played a million times more than my PS3.

I always hear great things about Xbox but nearly nothing about the Playstation... That has to mean something.

Well, the PS3 is good. I mean it's got some great exclusives but as for a main gaming machine the 360 is better. Now if you want a good blu-ray player then the PS3 is a viable option.

That was a waste of money. I am still playing 4 here and there. When 5 comes out it better be good or else I expect a refund. They are in it for the money now not the game, like most other things, so you see quality decrease.

Yeah, I'm still playing GT3/4. I got my steering wheel and peddle still setup.

I can't afford that setup; I just use my controller.

Man, I got the setup at the flea market when I bought the system. It works good too. I found a similar one for 20 bucks there as well.

The whole exclusivity is a silly myth of the past. You can mostly find what you need on EITHER gaming console.

Not really. You can't find Halo or Mass Effect on the PS3 or Uncharted and Killzone on the Xbox 360. No myth about that.
