Thought I would actually take time to ask something before doing it and so respect the staff here for their free hosting.

The website I am building here will have to do with game development, simple CMS out of fantastico, etc. There are some videos (not too large) having to do with blender 3D modeling I would like to upload made by someone else. I DO have written permission to upload and share these videos, but I was concerned about if this would be considered excessive usage.

If it is against the rules and I'm just not reading the TOS well enough that's cool with me, but I wanted to give admin the chance to say yea/nay before uploading them.

Hello,

Given that those videos hold relevance to the site, it should not be a problem to have them there as you say that they are not too large (what do you call not too large?) and that you have permissions to use them.

However I can not vouch for how much resources would be used up displaying them (CPU/memory), if that would trip any limits you'd get suspended with the option to unsuspend yourself through the account panel.

Each one is around 2-300 MB, there are 5 videos. Again, if it isn't a good idea I'm cool not doing it. I appreciate the hosting for what it is. Also, do I need to give admin a copy of the author's e-mail giving me permission to use the content?

Hello,

If there's rises questions regarding the legality of those videos being used, we'd need that information.

To ensure that the staff member doing a review knows that you have permissions, it might be good to upload a small text file with basic information, and that if needed you can send further information.

Thank you for the very quick reply Anna! I appreciate the help. I will be sure to do as you suggest and upload a file with the author's permission and contact info just in case.
