I have seen other people's posts that got a similar message, but then it said something like, "CPU resources have been limited." Mine is not saying what has been limited. Have I been blocked from using mysql? Is that why I can't access my database or phpmyadmin, or is mysql just broken on xo3? my domain is mattt.x10.mx. Thanks.

Hi Matt,

Your account was limited temporarily because you hit the maximum number of entry processes. In most cases, this usually means that too many PHP scripts were executing at the same time, as a result of either too many simultaneous connections or a cron job. :)

Your website currently appears to be loading correctly. ;)

Thank you,

It's literally saying that the CPU resources allocated for your site has been lowered (at least that's what I've picked up from it). MySQL shouldn't be affected.

Thanks dead-i,

I guess this means mysql might be down on xo3. Should I open a new thread to report that?

Hi Matt,

MySQL appears to be online on xo3, and your database seems to be loading fine. If you are still having issues with this, please could you provide me with a link to the page that is showing the MySQL error? :)

Thank you,

Dead-i,

It was giving me a permission denied error. I went in and reset the password for the database user account (to the same value it should have already been) and now it is working. It's as if the password had been changed, but I know I didn't change it.

Now it's just phpmyadmin that isn't working. It says, "cPanel was unable to successfully log you in to phpMyAdmin. If you are having issues logging in to phpMyAdmin, please submit a support ticket." Below, it has username and password fields for logging in manually, but I've tried my x10hosting username and password, and the username and password for the database user account, and neither of those work.

Thanks again for helping me out.

-Matt

Hi Matt,

I have run a quick fix on your account that should resolve the phpMyAdmin issue. Please could you now try re-authenticating with cPanel, and then try entering phpMyAdmin? :)

Thank you,
