Title say's it all. I just tried registering. The error appeared the very first time I tried registering. This is just my first time, I don't get it why the site says I already registered when I'm not.

It is based on IP, each IP can only sign up once every 24 hours.

We implemented that to prevent people from signing up for multiple accounts, unfortunately some legit new users get caught in this as well (user with dynamic iP, or user who share the IP with others in a home/school/work network).

How am I supposed to register then? This is just my first time with the site. I really need to get a site up and running for my school project.

You either wait 24 hours, or you could tell me what IP you are signing up from and I could remove that block.

Could you please give the exact, and full, message you are getting when you sign up?

If you connect through any kind of proxy you would get blocked, there's no way around that one, and if I'm not mistaken the error message is actually a generic one that does include both having signed up in the last 24 hours OR that you are connecting through a proxy.
