When did this change? I never allowed pop-ups and it's only been recently that I can't get access. Was this the result of the new 'dashboard'? And what do you mean by "new tab"? I use tabs all the time so this must be a definition/use I'm unfamiliar with.

This was my point. What I posted would be the result of spacresx's assertion. Anna's explanation made more sense since it didn't use the IP to test the validity of a login, just the validity of geographic access.

Interesting thought, but that means if I go on vacation or move out-of-state (or out-of-country) I can't access my site because my IP Address will definitely change, locking me out. The username/password is the lynch-pin to protection, not the IP address.

I'm under the impression VPNs are used to protect a user from prying eyes and stolen passwords. But X10 doesn't allow us to log in while being protected making it easy to steal credentials. This makes no sense or am I misunderstanding something?

I was able to change the email on that account, now I cannot do anything on the forums because of insufficient privileges. How do I verify the account if the old email does not work?

The grvs.org email does not work because of other X10 restrictions. This is why I need to talk to someone about changing it so I can log in properly. The account is not for me personally, it's a group I belong to. I am currently the webmaster.
