How are you trying to install Black Nova from cPanel? `uploading files from File Manager and going to the install directory? You may need to upgrade to a better plan(paid or VPS), because maybe the code they had written was poorly designed and takes up too much resources.

'activity' is considered logging into the forums. You do not have to post, just log in, stay like 5 minutes for the system to register that you are active. also, Corey has been nice and changed it to every 31days instead of 14.
