I would say java. It runs on almost all mobile platforms and is compatable with all operating systems.

Dell because they tend to last longer. Although, i have seen some very nice custom builds and asus. so long as it works and is fast.

Virtualization is great if you have the power. On then other hand, so is dual booting if you have the space. Either way you look at it there will be compromises that will have to be made. Personally, I like both of them.

Gmail because it is plain simple. it organizes your mail easily and allows imap and pop3 so it allows you to be able to link it to thunderbird.

ubuntu is the best. it is easy fast and it is also able to take care of all of the everyday needs. xp would be a good second.

I would say that Alternativeto.net is the best. I use it all the time to find alternatives to very expensive software and services that are way to expensive.

I would not tend to go with amd due to the fact that they break quicker. Also, intel's tend to be more compatable with most motherboards.

I would say chrome. it has built in flash and is really fast.

I would go with free becuase it is great for newbes who want the best in cpanel hosting.
