For the error messages ... you have files missing. Try re-uploading the files and trying again. For the FTP problem, what FTP client are you using?

Site is working fine here. Usually we generally have very stable servers, although we do have some minor hiccups here and there. I think all of the problems are solved, and if you continue to have problems I think the issue might be with getting blocked by the firewall. Next time it happens...

rename 'config.inc.sample.php' to 'config.inc.php'. Open that file and set the $blowfish_secret (something along the lines of this, might be named a little different) to a random value and you should be ready to go.
