i dont think so. :happysad: vista is "quite new", so lets expect bugs.. its like microsoft has dominated the operating system world and getting rid of that "domination" is quite hard especially when some people think that the only OSs that exists are microsoft operating systems..

kubuntu is just another linux distribution... current kubuntu commands still exist on other distros..

i have this WD External HDD which i just turned into my PortableApps USB device. the question is, will it cause too much load(cycles, i guess) on the external HDD? will it cause physical damage to the external disk? the external hdd has like 120 GB storage.. havnt gone halfway yet... replies...

i'd go for java.. it does some things automatically. also, its cross platform, so you can run it anywhere, almost anywhere, as long as it has the JRE..
